TASK

The first assessment task requires you to complete three tasks:

TASK 1: Individual skill set
As you will be working with others in the assessments (taking the role of a change manager), you will need to prepare a blog that tells people a little about you.

Step 1 - Readings

a. Read Belbin's team roles: Decide which role you are most comfortable with.

b. Access a job seeker website (e.g. Seek) and find an advertisement for a change manager or change agent which mentions teamwork. Scan or download or provide the text for the advertisement and include in your uploaded assignment submission.

Step 2 - Analysis
a. Using the advertisement you found and the Belbin team role you chose, write a response of between 350 and 400 words that includes your experience, skills, preferred team role/s and any restrictions on your time. (Please note: you are not completing a job application, simply outlining what you bring to the job in terms of attributes, skills and experience). Also, how you might contribute to being part of a team of change agents which is working remotely from the organisation, and largely in the virtual space.

Step 3 - Submission

a. Post your blog in the Discussion Forum in the Change Context Blog thread. Aim to complete your blog post as early in the session as possible to enable the formation of your team - a critical component of effective teams working to tight deadlines.
