Find a start virtual internal systems simulator such as the Zygote Body 3D Anatomy Online Visualizer to explore the respiratory, circulatory, and digestive systems.
1. Pick an organ or tissue in one of the systems observed in step 1.
2. Research a disorder/disease that occurs with this particular organ/tissue.
3. Create an infographic and include your findings from your research into the disorder/disease. Summarize what the disease is, the causes & symptoms of the disease, how it affects the specific organ/tissue you selected in step 2, how it affects the entire organ system to which it is a part of as well as the other two organ systems in step 1. 4. Include a Canadian researcher who specializes in studying and/or treating the disease/disorder that you selected. The name, profession, title, and organization that the researcher belongs to must be included in your infographic. The method of treatment or specific area of study must be described, as well as its implications on the life of the patient.
