Question: Travel and Transportation The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system conducted a survey to learn if bikes on board would have any effect on riders. A random sample of riders was selected and asked if there was enough room for bikes and passengers. Of the 1720 riders selected, 671 indicated there was enough room and 327 said it would be too crowded.

a. Find a point estimate for the proportion of all BART riders who believe there is enough room for passengers and bikes.

b. Find a point estimate for the proportion of all BART riders who believe it is too crowded with bikes on board.

c. Let pd denote the difference in population proportions between all BART riders who believe there is enough room for passengers and bikes and all BART riders who believe it is too crowded. Find a point estimate for pd.
