Question: Find a marketing stimulus (e.g. advertisement, product, retail outlet, website, etc.) that has been changed to fit the needs and values of customers in different countries/cultures

Find products that are used differently in other cultures and how marketers have adapted to that

Look for examples of variations in language (verbal and/or non-verbal) and how that impacts marketing strategy

Find real life examples of other-oriented values, environment-oriented values, and/or self-oriented values and relate it back to marketing and consumer behavior

What happens when advertising is embarrassing? It's become fairly commonplace in the United States to encounter ads for "unmentionables" like toilet paper, condoms, tampons, and erectile dysfunction medications. Should "sensitive" products be advertised in public? Try to find examples of advertisements and how consumers have responded (either positively or negatively) to these types of advertisements. You may want to compare cultures in your discussion.
