Find a current technical or trade article about nursing. It should be a bit more advanced than a general interest story you will find after a simple search on the web. Do use FTCC Library on NCLive.org. Select a publication about your field of study or your future and specific profession.

Read the article and find a passage in that article that is about 200 words long and rewrite it in your own words. Avoid replacing words in the original text, but give it a thought of your own and consider the audience who have not read the article.

Start the write-up with a clear reference to your source, full APA citation will work best, and a very short original summary of the article you have selected that will help me understand the paraphrase of the selected passage from the article you have selected. Please edit the paraphrase of the selected passage. Do not go over 300 words of your paraphrase section, please. Then add the original text in quotation marks at the very end. It will make my review so much easier. Do make it clear (using headings) where your summary starts, the paraphrase begins, and the original passage has been added, please.
