Choose any bank you want, go to their website, and look for the option to "compare checking accounts." Chances are they will have a checking account designed specifically for high school students. Then fill out info

1. What is the name of the bank that you chose?

2. What is the name of the checking account that you chose?

3. What is the Monthly Fee for having a checking account at this bank?

a. What requirements can you meet in your for the bank to waive the monthly fee? Are you currently meeting these criteria?

4. What is the Interest Rate / APY(Annual Percentage Yield) on the checking account? (Hint: it may not exist!)

5. What online banking services do they offer?

6. Does this account have a Minimum Balance to Open?If so, what is the minimum balance to open?

7. How much do they charge for an overdraft? This can also be known as an NSF Fee or Overdraft fee. Look for a .PDF document to find this information.

8. What is the ATM Fee this bank charges if you use an ATM outside of their network?

a. Do they have many ATM options on the North Shore?

b. Do they have ATMs on the college campus that you are currently most interested in attending?

c. Name of School (city, state):

9. Other: Are there any limits on conducting transactions inside bank, writing checks, ATM withdrawals, or anything else that we should know about when considering this checking account?
