Assignment:

1. Find a ATM kiosk to use. Take notes on each step as you use the kiosk.
2. Describe the product. Include relevant images.
3. User analysis: Describe the target users of this product. What are their demographics (technical skills required, manual skills, etc. , Is the ATM ADA (American Disabilities Act) Compliant
4. Try to do the task analysis for this product, as if you were first designing it. What are the user's overall tasks or goals when using this product? What parts of the overall task does the system perform? What parts does the user perform?
5. Use analysis: Describe how the product is used (frequency, context, environment, purpose, etc)
6. Conceptual design: Describe the conceptual model in this product (key objects, attributes, relationships, actions)
7. Design critique:  Describe how well or poorly the product meets its users' needs and wants. Evaluate the design based on the 5 measures of usability (learnability, speed of performance, rate of errors by users, retention over time, subjective satisfaction).
8. Design improvements: Propose how you might improve or redesign the product. Mention thoughts on mode of deployment (for example, mobile implementation).
9. Future testing: Describe how you would test the product after you improved it, to see if your improvements were helpful.

2. Keep in mind that your report is itself a user interface whose purpose is to convey ideas to a reader.  Demonstrate your ability to apply the ideas of this class by using the various tools available to you in order to make your report easy to read. This means using headers, short paragraphs, topic sentences, bullets for lists, boldface (where appropriate), captions, labeled image parts, numbered figure captions, and other devices that make reading easier.
