I returned to College after being out for over 10 years. Originally, I only needed 7 credits as I thought I graduated in 2003. I am in the catalog, and purchased my ring. When I returned to school was informed the degree that I was seeking in 2003 Management Science does not exist anymore, and I needed to take additional classes. The degree is now called Business Management. I tired to take 4 classes, and thought I was doing good in my classes. Two were on line, so I would watch to see how I was doing. I started in the classes late as I had to get permission to enter the classes as I do not have financial aid. I was applying for financial due to not finding out until the week grades went in lost the opportunity to get aid as my grading average was too low. I was able to get an academic clemency once I completed 12 credits that why I took the 12 credits. I passed two classes with a b. I did not know I was not passing the two classes as I was sending in work, and communicating with the teachers. I have sick children, entered the classes late, and asked to get time to send in any missing work. I even sent in missing work when it was too late to drop or withdrawn from the classes. The instructors stated they did not know I my children were sick, and I was sick asked for extension. I have the email from both were I was communicating. It's the teacher's job when taking an online course to inform you of your not passing the class prior to the week grades go in. It's two online classes communication is necessary. Now, I need to ask about getting credit for the work as I got an E. I would have accepted a D at that point knowing that is not what I desired. I need something done about the $4000.00 bill that went over to central collections, I need to be given withdraw or classes dropped, or even a chance to take the classes over without paying as I do not have financial aid. I spoke to the instructors Team Leaders, now going to another department. I need to know how I address this, and want to send the work to this department.
