Strategic Analysis - "Final Company Report on ADIDAS company"

Assignment Description

All students will be expected to create an analysis of a company and prepare a Word document (your report) plus a PowerPoint  presentation that summarizes the report.

This assignment is designed to see how well you have learned concepts and should include:

1. Financial analysis
2. Competitive analysis
3. The company's mission and vision
4. A five forces analysis
5. A strategic group mapping
6. An assessment of their resources and capabilities
7. A business model analysis
8. The company's generic strategy
9. And other course learnings that are appropriate such as their international strategy, an innovation model, and/or any ethical/social responsibility issues.

To provide a frame of reference for this report, assume that you are researching the company to recommend that your company make a financial investment in this company. Of course, you can recommend that they NOT invest in the company.

Your work product should be a report in (.doc format) of no more than 5 pages (and no more than 2,000 words) plus a 5-slide PowerPoint presentation. The presentation will summarize the key points in the report and may be used to share your research, analysis and findings with the class. The report and presentation must be of a high caliber and the type of report provided to a CEO of one of the world's best corporations.
