Films are about exploring identity. While it is through choices and actions your protagonists creates themselves, dialogue is used to make true, false or aspirational statements about who we are.

This is an example from a movie I saw this weekend, I am not using character names so as not to give away which specific movie or release any spoilers.
Hero: I know you, what is your name again?
Armed Goon: I am the Devil and I am here to do the Devil's work.
The goon raises his GUN.
Hero: No, it was something stupider than that. Rex?
I am possibly paraphrasing so choose scenes you can watch at home that are not in theaters, allowing you to give AN EXACT TRANSCRIPTION.
It is a surprisingly fulfilling exercise that I would recommend doing to a greater extent for any scene or film you enjoy.
