1. Field Guide Challenge 7 Practice Dilemma: If you were Kim, would you work around the rules to get the repair done quickly or wade through the proper process including the time it takes? Explain your decision. 

Personal Ethical Decision-Making Framework Reflection: Consider how you came to the decision for question 1. Consider any real-life decisions you have made where the scenario had an ethical dimension.  In general, how do you make an important decision that has an ethical dimension? What steps did you take to make your decision (sometimes these can be unconscious and made in seconds or minutes)?  Take some time and reflect on your decision-making process.

Questions to consider as you build your step-by-step process: 

• Consider a recent event, why did you chose one way over another? What led to your decision?
• Do you consult others?
• Do you meditate/pray/write/reflect?
• Do you look to precedents, rules, or societal guidelines?

For this assignment question, write down the steps you normally follow when trying to make a decision in a scenario that contains an ethical dimension. 

Framework Evaluation: Reviewing your personal framework from question 2, evaluate if there are any missing steps that would be beneficial to add.  Discuss what, if anything, you should add to your decision-making process to help you better evaluate scenarios in your life that contain an ethical dimension. If there is nothing to add to your framework, explain why you feel your framework works best for you.
