Feminization of poverty
The feminization of poverty is a growing concern globally as women and children are the fastest growing demographic of humans in poverty worldwide.
The objective of this paper is to explore the unequal status of women in underdeveloped countries that contributes to problems such as exploitation, domestic violence, conflict, infant mortality, sex trafficking, and a compromised quality of life. Using "Girls in War: Sex Slave, Mother, Domestic Aide, Combatant"
include the following:
a. the social, economic, and or political problem that is facing women in the particular context.
b. What are the factors contributing to this problem in underdeveloped countries specifically?
c. What are some proposed solutions to mitigating the inequality and improving overall status of women in this part of the world?
