How can these features help physicians and facilities? With the assistance of the open-EMR and its features will help make the medical staff, facilities and patients life much easier from ordering lab work, scheduling patient appointments, patients accessing their own medical records when they need them and physicians e-scripts to the pharmacy all with a click away convenience. This type of EMR system will help with medical staff and patient communication as the EMR will have more detail information in the record of the patient that will improve the care the patient will be receiving.
