You are dining at your favorite restaurant and eating your favorite meal when you start to think about the digestion process (sorry to ruin your meal). Briefly explain this process from your mouth to your stomach. How long does it take solid foods and liquids to travel down your esophagus (perhaps this is why we eat so fast)?

Although you may not have any food allergies there may be foods that upset your digestive system after you eat them (If you do not experience any unpleasant symptoms with any foods, describe the symptoms of any family member, friend, or co-worker who experiences unpleasant symptoms.).
