The family states that Carlos has a history of depression and takes an antidepressant which helps with mood. Family members seem upset but their responses to the situation seem appropriate. Over the past week, Carlos has not been sleeping, he is "always busy" working on multiple projects. Today at work he got very angry and argued with a coworker. Carlos states that people just irritate him. He feels like his mind is always racing, he can't slow down and feels very energized. Carlos feels very hungry but never gets tired. He has never felt this way before but doesn't understand why his family is so concerned. There is no history or recent use of other medications or illicit drugs.
