1. A factory arranges different portions of its assembly lines in an attempt to insure that all jobs take an equal amount of time for completion. Periodically they check these completion times by conducting independent surveys. The A Line was sampled 30 times and showed an average completion time of 20 minutes with a standard deviation of 2.5 minutes. The B Line was sampled 35 times and showed an average completion time of 26.5 minutes with a standard deviation of 1.6 minutes. At the ninety five percent confidence level, does this data support the belief that both routes in the city take an equal time to complete?
