Question

You are working in a factory around industrial machines with moving parts. The previous worker in that area is training you and sais that they removed guards that had been placed on the machine to prevent workers from reaching into the machine near the pulleys with rotating belts. They assure you the guards are not needed and the guards just slow you down when you perform the frequent replacement (2 times per day) that the belts require.

They inform you that you are to start working right after the training and you need to keep the machine running as long as you can each day. Please discuss how you might proceed according to the principles of health and safety.
