Integrative Paper Assignments.
1. Write a 1,050- to 1,750-word paper, expanding on your Research Question and Background assignment that will become the Introduction section for the Final Integrative Paper.
Research questions
a. What are various factors influencing the US healthcare system?
b. Which is best method for managing healthcare issues in the county, for example LA?
This section will include the title page, introduction with background, purpose statement, research questions, and definition of terms.
2. Locate five to eight peer-reviewed articles not from the Internet, pertaining to the health care policy on HIPPA. These articles must investigate the policy being analyzed or the piece of the health care delivery system of interest to the learner.
Prepare an annotated bibliography for these articles and format your annotated bibliography consistent with APA 6th edition guidelines.
3. Write a 1,050- to 1,750-word literature review that includes the articles from the Annotated Bibliography assignment and connects those articles to your problem, purpose, and research questions.
Note: When compiling your Literature Review, do not cut and paste the Annotated Bibliography into the integrated paper. Instead, create a cohesive literature review by integrating content from the annotation for each article.
4. Write a 1,050- to 1,750-word paper that will become the Analysis section for the Final Integrative Paper.
Include the following elements in the Analysis section:
o Synthesize findings from the literature review with the policy topic for the project.
o Explore the effect the policy has had on the segment of the health care delivery area.
o Consider the social, ethical, legal, and political forces that have shaped the policy and delivery of services.
5. Write a 350- to 700-word Recommendations and Conclusions section for the paper, addressing recommendations to the policy that will allow it to adapt to the changing health care landscape. Consider how social, ethical, legal, and political forces will affect a change in the policy and how a change affects the paradigm defined by these forces.
Compile the final assignment. The paper must combine the work of previous weeks, with the addition of an abstract added to the Introduction section. The body of the paper must be approximately 3,850 to 6,650 words, not counting the title page, abstract, and references
