Factors affecting the work environment of Wendy's store that needs to be considered in order to improve the work system design of it would be the behavioral feasibility. The behavioral feasibility of a job is the degree to which the job is intrinsically satisfying to the employee. At Wendy's they were so focused on pleasing the customers that they would do whatever it takes to satisfy them whether it was overworking employees or anything. Their problem was that, they were never too concerned with the mental, physical, or emotional health of the employee so that caused them to have a very high turnover rate.
