PARAPHRASE Based on the information provided in the study, the researchers provided information based on the barriers to and facilitators of CAUTI-related behaviors. There were eleven interventions used with mixed-methods to determine the significance of this three-phased study. The research was comprehensive and reproducible but there were many limitations. Although, this source is not useful as support for the analysis of my selected problem. Based on the John Hopkins Summary Tool, the article provides information that is relevant to the prevention of catheter-associated urinary tract infections using the Behavior Change Technique (Atkins et al., 2020). This technique does include interventions that are aimed at reducing the CAUTI rate but there is not enough information in relation to how the evidence is presented. The information that would be useful includes, interventions, such as, nurse and physician education, promoting aseptic techniques for insertion and removal of catheters, and implementing best practices (Potugari et al., 2019). There is more involvement and data that included the interventions and the collaboration of the healthcare team.
