Describe two competitive factors (from Porter's Five Forces model plus the sixth force added in) that are faced in the organic supermarket industry and identify the factor as being of High, Medium or Low importance. One or two sentences or bullet points per factor. e.g. something in the Threat of New Entrants category and something in the Substitutes category, not two factors per category. When you analyze the industry, you should focus on the factors themselves, not how Whole Foods deals with them. For example, if you were writing about the toothpaste market, a factor would be that the power of buyers is a high threat. They have many choices and the cost of switching from one brand to another is negligible. In my summary of the industry, I only mentioned Whole Foods once, as an example. I want to make sure you understand the concepts of the Porter analysis as part of building a SWOT.
