Consider the jib crane shown in the given image, where it is supported by a pin at C and rod AB. The maximum tension allowed in the rod is 60 kN and the maximum rated force in the pin C is 80 kN. The load has a mass of 2000 Kg with its center of mass located at G.

Apply equilibrium conditions and express FC and FAB as functions of x (the distance shown on the figure). Note: FC is the overall force in pin C which is obtained by first finding CX and CY.
