Written Dissertation of 15,000 words articulating AQA Level 7 criteria of critical analysis and synthesis following systematic research and collection and analysis of data.
Topic: Exploring International business in the information and digital age.
Intended Learning Outcomes for the Assessment
The Learning Outcomes are described in the Module Definition Form provided in the left hand menu. These are set at the outset of the module design and have been ratified by an independent panel of academics from ARU and external institutions. • Establish a method for investigation / exploration of key concepts, models and principles with reference to a chosen significant and complex area for enquiry.
• Evaluate complex issues critically and from a variety of viewpoints.

The Principal Element - The Dissertation (in report format)
Here are some compulsory and recommended sections for your dissertation. Whilst the compulsory sections must be included, the actual structure and content are at your academic discretion. You must discuss the structure and content of your dissertation with your supervisor who may agree that the following is appropriate, or may advise a different approach! No two dissertations are the same so please be guided by your supervisor for what is appropriate for your topic and your proposed content.

Title page This page is compulsory. You must write each of the following and in this order:
• Anglia Ruskin University Logo
• your course title, for example MSc Project Management
• your SID number, and your name if you wish but not otherwise
• your dissertation title, which must be clear and a maximum of 15 words in length
• the month and year of your submission
• total wordcount; wordcount without references and appendices; wordcount without tables references and appendices
Acknowledgements This page is where you acknowledge those people who may have helped you. For example it might include people you interviewed or family member(s) who helped you by providing moral support. You do not have to name everyone, indeed some may need to be anonymous, but you must make reference to everyone who helped you. Discretion and judgement are important here. Abstract Approximately 200 words on a single page. It should write in the present tense. The abstract should be single line spaced. The abstract should contain one paragraph for each of the following: -
• What was investigated and why (aims and objectives)
• How the topic was investigated (methodology)
• What was found (literature and data findings)
• What conclusions and recommendations were drawn
