Examples include the Gaza-Israel conflict, the pro-Palestine movements on North American campuses, or the Canadian government's capping of the number of international students. Select multiple media sources to enrich your analysis.

3. How do we understand the statement "the medium is the message" in the era of the Internet and social media? Drawing form McLuhan's insights, try to use tangible social media examples to underscore how the technological structures of the Internet and social media overshadow the content they contain. And how these new technologies and platforms have transformed communication patterns and alter all aspects of social relations.
