Problem: We often talk about referring clients for services, but in real life, practice resources are often limited. Imagine you are a social worker helping a client, who is a character in the film. Conduct a search in your community for at least one agency, organization or service (mezzo level) the client you choose can be referred. For instance, find an agency providing family preservation services, employment training, etc., and explore their website to determine eligibility criteria. Contact the agency to explore the process of enrolling in and receiving their services, types of assessments they conduct, and types of interventions they provide. Does the agency provide evidence-based services? Do they accept insurance? Think through the feasibility of your client's needs being met there. Report on your findings.
