Select a psychosocial difficulty that may be experienced by an individual at some point during development (e.g., diagnosis with a learning disability, experience of physical abuse, separation from caregiver, onset of mental illness, etc.). Explore the impact of that event on development at two different stages. Each of the questions below should have valuable sourcesto support your answer.

Consider how a subsequent stage of development may be affected by the experience of the psychosocial difficulty at the first stage (e.g., if you considered the impact of sexual abuse on a 10-year-old, how might that same individual's development be different at age 25 as a result of having been abused at age 10?).
