Assignment:
Do a research proposal for a qualitative study that explores the gaps in suicide and religion topic. The purpose of this is to conceptualise how to conduct the research and not to actually carry out the research.
Propose a study that can be realistically carried out by one person.
The structure of the research proposal should be as follows:
Introduction: provide relevant background information and explain why choose this research method.
Literature review: provide an overview of existing research on the topic, but make sure to synthesize the literature rather than present it study-by-study. End the literature review by stating the research aim, listing the research questions, and clarifying how the existing gap will be addressed in the research.
Methods: describe the research design, participants, procedure for data collection, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques/strategies used.
Ethical considerations: explain any ethical considerations that would need to be addressed in this study.
Make sure to adhere to the above structure and provide sufficient detail for each section. Thisproposal is an opportunity to showcase the ability to design a feasible research study.
