Civic Engagement/Community Volunteering Project: The Florida Holocaust Museum.

The Research Project has three sections:

1. Annotated Bibliography - 2 sources in each of the following categories:

The overall importance of civic engagement/volunteering and either educational success or community building (social capital).

Explore the different ways one can volunteer, in-person or virtually. Search for a list of volunteer opportunities available both in-person or online.

Focus on two opportunities or organizations that you would like to volunteer with in the future. Please summarize the needs and requirements of these organizations.

2. Section 2 - Overview & Analysis -Summarize your research and explain how the separate areas of research relate to each other and the course content.

3. Individual Action - Community Volunteering -Select an organization you would like to volunteer with in the future. Discuss your interest in this organization, what you will need to do to volunteer and how you feel you could best contribute.
