Antonvsky's model of health was an early Wellness model, seeking to integrate multiple systems into a whole for adaptation and health.
Seligman's Positive Psychology is a psychological model of wellness that has become very popular in the last two decades.
Follow the below for one or the other...
Antonvsky's Model:
· Discuss your own (and define) Generalized Resistance Resources (GRR): Personal, Social and Physical Environmental resources. What are yours?
· Consider a main stressor you found through the SRRS and/or Inventory: Are you Stressed, taken in response to Discussion 1 OR a particular stressful event in your life, and discuss your Sense of Coherence in the midst of it: Comprehensibility, Manageability and Meaningfulness.
· How do you think your GRRs and SOC either support or inhibit your health and well-being?
PERMA:
Choose one of the PERMA aspects: Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, Accomplishment and:
· Define the aspect as you understand it.
· How is this aspect of PERMA already expressed in your life?
· What role does it play in and how does it relate to your sense of well-being?
· How might you/would you like to strengthen this aspect of your life? What is at least ONE thing you can do?
