Assignment - Smart Grid Data Analytics
Objective: The objective of the smart grid mini projects is to encourage exploration of new ideas on smart grid data analytics.
Task: Each individual student must select a smart grid data analytics problem and suitable analytics technique associated with forecasting, classification, clustering, disaggregation, learning, or any other type of analytics problem applied to smart grid data. Any programming language or tool can be utilized for this project.
Deliverables: The deliverable for the mini project is a report written as a 3-page paper, using the IEEE transactions paper template.
The short paper should include:
1. Abstract - A short paragraph summarizing the document.
2. Introduction - What is the problem and why is it important?
3. Literature review - What has been done by others?
4. Proposed method - A section outlining your smart grid problem and data analytics technique.
5. Numerical simulations and results - A description of your simulations and the results.
6. Conclusions - What are the implications of your results? Why are they significant?
7. References - List of related work
