Students will formulate a question related to the impact of culture, cultural identity, and linguistic background on the education of students from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds. With this question as a focus students will review research, websites, professional literature and write a report of findings. Reports should be 2000-2500 words in length and should include a section on the implications for teaching strategies. Students will then present findings and implications at a Respect, Relationships and Reconciliation Round Table Conference and will be assessed by peers for this roundtable presentation. Online students will present findings via video conference or via a discussion forum. The roundtable will run for 15-20 minutes.
