The final project for this class involves choosing a company that has a history of marketing efforts, analyzing if the marketing efforts have been successful and making suggestions to improve, or change the marketing strategy.
There are two parts to this individual project - a written paper (10 page minimum text, double spaced, 12 point font) and an oral presentation (5 minutes maximum with slides or appropriate media).
The first step is to choose a company that has a substantial history of marketing efforts. It is essential that you have enough data to work with, including availability of advertising campaigns and social media. Once you have chosen the company, you will use the concepts and frameworks that we have discussed in class and that you have read about in the textbook to frame your analysis of the success (or lack thereof) of the marketing efforts thus far. The last step is to make your own suggestions for improvement. These need to be concrete thoughts - again using learning's from the class to come up with ideas to improve on specific aspects of marketing with detailed descriptions of how your suggestion can be implemented and how it would benefit the company.
