You are a project manager that has been hired by a computer hardware company that produces computer keyboards. The company is based in Southeast Florida and wants you and your team to facilitate the creation of a new kind of wireless keyboard that runs on a newer, more efficient type of renewable battery. The keyboards need to be produced in one year. However, three months into the project, problems with production begin to arise. The main issue is that the heat within the Southeast Florida region is causing the batteries to malfunction. The company wants to move production to a facility in Kansas. However, the company does not want to change the scheduled deadline for the project's completion. Also, the project manager informs the company that the move to Kansas will increase the cost and scope of the project. The project manager selects five people from her project team to become the change management team. This team is now responsible for executing the necessary changes for this project.
