Assignment:
While the Geneva Convention has great intentions, it is for all intents and purposes completely useless. The international courts hold no real power and can't hold anyone accountable for violating the rules of the convention, mainly because the world's "leaders" are too cowardly to act. One of the biggest violators of the Genevan Convention has been Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu, yet when he was at a recent UN meeting all they did was stage a worthless little walk out while he was talking. The only people that have to power to stop what's happening right now are too cowardly to act. Instead he just gets some rude looks while they send him billions of dollars. SO whatever good intentions Geneva was written under have been all but lost. Which definitely does not align with any of my personal ethics.

2. Consider your peer's argument and argue the opposite. Why should your peer's chosen part of the conventions not apply to all people and nation-states?
