Describe the values and beliefs that define this issue as a social problem. Consder these guiding questions
How do these values and beliefs influence the policy-making process
To what extent are these values and beliefs aligned or not aligned to social work ethics

Policy Analysis

Summarize a policy that is intended to address the social problem you identified. Inclde relevant details to explain the objectives and goals of the policy.
Evaluate the efficacy of the policy. Consder these guiding questions:
To what extent does the policy align to its intended purpose
Are the goals and objectives of the policy attainable
What are some challenges or successes associated with the policy
What are some intended or unintended consequences of the policy

Social Welfare Programs and Policies

Descrbe the problem's relevance regarding social welfare programs and policies. Conider these guiding questons:

Is there a role for social work? If so, wht is it?
Is the problem adequately addressed by current social welfare policies and programs Is there more or less that should be done

Future Action

Recommend 1 change or a new approach to the problem. Justify your response.
