Imagine that you are the new CEO of a business speaking to a group of employees to inform and inspire confidence. Recently your business district in the city has had to deal with a demonstration that resulted in a riot. This resulted in your business suffering property damage, vandalism and looting. Your task is not only to clean up the mess but to inspire and encourage and motivate employees to understand that your company is doing all it can to help employees make it through this trying time for everyone. You will need to focus on your employee's stress and the emotions they are dealing with to be able to cope with the day-to-day stresses they now face in their jobs.

Describes safety and security, staff responsibilities, sources of stress and how to overcome them and how you will help everyone deal with their emotions and where they can go for help.

Explains how your business will respond to the concerns of the demonstrators and the community service the business will engage in to help the community heal and deal the issues that caused the violence.

Provides inspiration and assurance to employees that they can help with the damage to the business and they will be safe in doing their work during the crisis.
