Assignment: Review the video above titled, "Former FBI Agent Explains How to Read Body Language". This video provides a unique perspective on body language and how we can easily misinterpret certain non-verbal cues.

Part of this class requires you to learn from a variety of sources and apply these concepts to Employee Relations. With that in mind, utilize this assignment to share your answers to the two questions below.

Question 1: The video debunks several myths about body language. What surprised you the most?

Question 2: The video discusses how poker players have "tells". The video also shares how much of the learning stems from watching a players nonverbal reactions to cards when they are dealt or in between playing rounds. Think of a specific positive or negative employee relations matter. Identify two "tells" that you could observe when addressing this specific positive or negative employee relations matter with the subject. Second, describe what these "tells" mean given the situation. For example, suppose you are meeting with an employee about excessive tardiness. When talking with them, they might fold their arms and this could suggest that they are defensive.
