All of them have become very suspicious and upset when they receive a memo from the HR department saying their jobs are going to be analyzed and evaluated in an effort to improve the internal alignment of the organization's pay structure.

First, describe at least three types of complaints/concerns you would  likely hear from your employees. (i.e., what are the primary arguments against both job analysis and job evaluation).

2. Continuing from the above scenario.

Now that you have gathered your employees concerns, describe what you would say to address the issues raised? Addressing the concerns should likely include:

  • Explaining why the process needs to be undertaken
  • Providing details regarding the information gathering process
  • How your employees themselves should be involved in the process, both during and AFTER the information is gathered.
