Question: Participating in professional networking is critical to the practitioner goal of the DHA program. Within the field, there are a multitude of professional associations that align to different types of HSOs. As a doctoral student, knowledge of and membership within a professional organization offers access to current information and opportunities to engage with professionals in your field.

In this Networking Board, you will consider different professional healthcare associations that align with your selected HSO. You will select one that aligns with your career goals and assess its benefits. In addition, you will consider how networking and becoming involved with the association might assist you in impacting positive social change.
