Case Study: A computer parts manufacturer is to supply Stella computers with 25000 laptop power adapters. Stella wants to conduct a AQL sampling before accepting the order, so their quality assurance team visits the computer parts manufacturing facility's finishing store before the order is shipped. They are strict on quality of the parts, so wants to follow a double sampling procedure. a double sampling plan with normal severity-level GII. AQLs accepted by the customer are critical =0%, major =0.25%, minor =2.5%

Questions:

a-In a table format, clearly specify how many defects will be accepted and how many needed to reject the lot for each AQLlevels

b. The AQL inspectors based on their experience may decide on the type of sampling plan to be followed. Explain the major difference(s) between a single sampling plan and a double sampling plan?
