For this week's discussion, please present a summary of a classic experiment. In particular, your description should:
1. Explain the hypothesis that was tested or the question that was addressed by the experiment.
2. Describe the methods used in the experiment, and explain why they were relevant to the question at hand
3. Explain how the results of the experiment were interpreted. You may not use an experiment we have discussed in class for your example, you may use an experiment described in the textbook for your example. Note that in both the lectures and the textbook, we sometimes discuss experiments that would not be considered molecular biology, but are important for giving context and background. Examples include: * The chromosomal theory of inheritance * Mutation is a random process * Possible formation of biological molecules on the early earth.
