Question: Brazil, Germany, India, Japan, Nigeria, and, South Africa have all advanced arguments for why each possess the most persuasive case to be THE new Permanent Member on a reformed UN Security Council for the twenty-first century. Evaluate each country in turn from the perspective of the appropriateness of their foreign policy traditions, engagement on the international stage, acceptability to the global community, geographic regional representation and equity, military power, and, economic power. Discuss which one of the six countries you prefer over the others, and, explain why the others would be unsuitable. How would your choice enhance or compliment the work of the UN Security Council?
