CASE STUDY

Michael Richardson's Learnership plan Michael Richardson works for Split-Image in the finance department as an assistant and is well respected. He has worked as an assistant there for five years and is now looking to grow his career. He feels it is time for a change. However he has no professional qualification to assist with his career development. As the department has become increasingly busy, Split-Image is continuously hiring new people and often looking for chartered accountants. His manager has discussed this with him and told him that he will need to study further to achieve his dreams. After careful consideration Michael has decided he would like to become a chartered accountant, but does not have the financial means himself to pay for the course. He has put in a request with his employee to enter a learnership programme.
