We have two finalists for a position with our company. We have given both of these applicants a test and want to know if one candidate is clearly superior to the other. We are aware that all tests have some degree of error in them. The test has a reliability of .87 and a standard deviation of 5. Joe scored a 57 on the test and Jill scored a 62. Is Jill clearly superior to Joe? Explain your answer.
