It is impossible to completely ensure the all nuclear weapons are completely destroyed. One thing that is most definite is a nuclear free world cannot be assured and if there is any chance, it is very slim.

The debate on nuclear weapons doesn't seem to be nearing an end any time soon, so as the saying goes we should prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
