Social Learning Theory in Education
Purpose: One of my goals in this course is for students to connect their learning in psychology with everyday life. In class, we learned about the works of Social Learning theorists Kohler, Tolman and Bandura. This assignment looks at how Social Learning Theory can be used in education to teach desirable student behavior. Social Learning techniques can engage students and reduce barriers to learning. The goal is to for you to understand how to implement Social Learning into the classroom and beyond. This assignment is tied to Psychology 2510-Learning Outcome #2, Students will be able to identify the theories of learning.
Task: Your task is to answer the following question based on a document by Western Govenors University. To begin, your task is to (1) Read the attached weblink-A Guide to Social Learning in Education-Western Governors University (May 15, 2020). (2) Finally, answer the following questions with a 4-6 complete sentence response for each question. Please number the questions with your responses. Each question is worth 4 points.
