Case Study: In this scenario a couple have just purchased their first new SUV - After they got it home, they started feeling anxious about this purchase and wondered if they should have shopped around a little bit more to become more informed about SUVs. They began to wonder if they should have looked at some more alternatives than just the few they did before purchasing this one. They are experiencing post-purchase dissonance, sometimes referred to as cognitive dissonance or "buyers remorse".
