4. A patient being treated for AIDS comes to the office for a follow-up visit. The patient tested positive for the disease several months ago but has had no real symptoms of the disease up to this time. At the last visit, the physician prescribed a "cocktail" of several antiviral drugs. When asked about his compliance with the drug regimen, the patient replies that he has stopped taking the drugs because he doesn't feel bad and doesn't think he needs the drugs.
