I know that propylene glycol is a type of alcohol and helps contain pigments in tattoo ink. But how (like are there components in the composition that helps it stay)?? Also interactions between inks and MRI are stronger when coming in contact with inks containing a high level of iron oxide. Why is that? The dyes in colored tattoos (non black or red) inks are mostly organic, what molecules are used and why are they colored. and how does the different composition depend on the specific ink color also, how do different components absorb different wavelengths of light in the ink
