Problem: You are a HR manager for a software developer who has to report bad news: Due to staffing complications and concerns about COVID-19 liability, your company will no longer be able to provide daycare. The CEO and VP for Finance have determined that the daycare center is too risky and expensive (required staff), and they have decided to cease offering services within 30 days. Many of your employees are working parents; to offset this difficulty, the company is proposing a $250/month stipend for any employee with children. You have been asked by the president to present this news to middle managers, who will carry this information to their staffs. In a 1-3 page paper, please delineate the following strategies: Communicator, Audience, Message, Channel Choice, and Culture.
